• What is RIBN?

RIBN, which stands for Regionally Increasing Baccalaureate Nurses, is a program where a student earns both an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) by dually enrolling in Gaston College and Lenoir-Rhyne University.  The first three years of study are at Gaston College, along with one course per semester at LRU.  After the third year in the program, students graduate with their ADN and take the NCLEX to become Registered Nurses.  Then, while working part time as RNs, students take one more year of coursework online at LRU to receive their BSN.
