Welcome

  • Welcome to Catawba Springs.

It is an honor to serve as the principal of Catawba Springs Elementary School. I have been in education for twenty years and during that time I have served as an elementary school teacher, an assistant principal, and a principal. At Catawba Springs we are very fortunate to have outstanding teachers, wonderful students, and very supportive parents and community members. We believe that teaching and learning are centered on the needs of our students, and by working together we strive for our students to be on grade level academically and socially. I appreciate your support of our school as we strive to prepare our students to be successful and able to attain their dreams.

    Kristi Smith

    Principal

Colt Announcements

  • WE DO NOT NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS FOR JUNE 1st!

We were blessed again with two groups of volunteers that have offered to take out the old playground.  We will NOT NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS anymore! Those who were willing to help, thank you! The playground will be here June 5 and ready to play on June 8th!  Bricks have also arrived! We can’t wait to pave the way to the playground with them! Bricks are still on sale and will be throughout next year.  They are $100 and forms are available in the office.  Come on by to play on the playground and find your brick!

Help Us Pave the Way to New Playground Equipment for Catawba Springs Elementary!

The Catawba Springs PTO is excited to officially announce the fundraising effort to replace the playgrounds at CSES. We have had our existing playground equipment for more than 25 years. The PTO has several opportunities for you to help with this effort, including purchasing paper bricks for $1 to start paving the way! The paper bricks may be purchased in the media center on Mondays and Thursdays between 8-8:30 am.

Please visit the CSES PTO website for more information and ways to help.
