Mrs. Lindsay Dow
Hey Panther Families!
My name is Lindsay Dow and I am so happy to be at North Lincoln Middle School this year, starting my fourth year in education. My family and I moved from Mt. Holly, NC, a little over a year ago. We were ready for some wide open spaces!
Last year I taught at West Lincoln Middle School, 6th and 7th grade Math and ELA. I look forward to teaching 6th grade Math and ELA this year!
My husband, Hutch, is retired from the Air Force. I have three children, Mary Ella, Charli Ann and Hudson, and they keep us busy with sports. We love living in Lincoln county and I love working for Lincoln County Schools. I am honored to be a part of the NLMS Panther Family.
I am originally from Louisiana/Mississippi and moved to North Carolina in 2005. I first attended Winston-Salem State University where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Rehabilitation Studies. I then attended their graduate program, where I graduated with a Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2009. I worked as an occupational therapist in multiple settings over 10 years, when I decided on a career change. I prayed hard about what God was calling me to do and he led me to education. In the fall of 2020, I began my Masters in Special Education. I graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May of 2022. I have been teaching Exceptional Children for 4 years now, and I can't imagine doing anything else in life.
My number one priority as your child’s teacher is to keep an open line of communication and work together to achieve your child’s goals. Please contact me with any questions or concerns that you have. I am always here to support you and your child. I am looking forward to a great 2023-2024 school year!
