Welcome to 1st Grade! My name is Mindy Diaz and I am excited about being your child’s teacher this year! This is my 12th year of teaching and my 5th year at Rock Springs. I am looking forward to working with you and your child as I know we will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the days ahead.

I am originally from New York where I earned my degree in Childhood Education. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, listening to music, being outdoors, watching/playing all sports, and spending time with my family. My husband and I have two boys (6 & 21) that continue to keep us on our toes!

I have high expectations for all of my students and will do all that I can to help your child achieve those expectations. It is my goal to provide all students with an educationally challenging, yet fun, experience in my classroom. I am looking forward to a positive and productive school year!
