Hello, Union Family

My name is Tammie Allen and I proudly serve as Union Elementary's School Librarian. I began my teaching career in 2001 as an Exceptional Education teacher and in 2016 I embarked on a new journey as a librarian. I enjoy staying active and spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I have 3 active children that keep us busy and entertained. Being a school librarian allows me to build relationships with each child enrolled at Union Elementary. What a gift! Beyond the library, I am one of three Battle of the Books coaches, I look forward to assisting Mrs. Minick with our Ukelele Club. I also sponsor our student-led morning news - W.O.W.L. News. I serve on Union's School Improvement Team, the MTSS team, and our School Social Committee.
