The staff of S. Ray Lowder School will form a partnership with our students, their parents, and the community. We will provide a safe and appropriate learning environment where students develop the skills necessary to become responsible citizens.
In order to fulfill our mission, we have established the following beliefs:

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE AT YMCA BRANCH IN LINCOLNTON (with transportation)
Did you know that the Y offers transportation to Before and Afterschool programs from our school? Here, kids engage in a variety of exciting physical and imaginative activities that encourage them to explore who they are and what they can achieve.
We had 302 participants!! This wouldn't have been possible without you! THANK YOU! Also, huge thank you to all our staff at S Ray Lowder, PTO, volunteers, our race sponsors, BBQ King, Chris Rhyne, Downtown Dairy Treats, Lowder Lion, First Baptist Church our partner in education and amazing support system, Lincoln County Sheriff Office Explorers and LHS Air Force JROTC always do a professional and amazing job with traffic control. We can always rely on these 2 groups. LHS Drum line with their award winning band members and band director Josh Belvin. Atrium Health, our partner in education for over 18 years, Cameron Beddingfield with Racing Toes did an excellent job with timing. Our Tshirts ROCKED thanks to Matt Bentley and Brett Bradshaw at M&B Printing!! Thank you to our administration for always supporting S Ray Lowder and believing in our mission.
2018 – 2019 Kindergarten Registration is still underway. You will need a certified copy of the child’s birth certificate, 2 proofs of residence, immunization record and drivers license. Any child that will be 5 years old on or before August 31st will be eligible for Kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year.
Box Tops for Education is excited for another school year! We will be collecting Box Tops throughout the year. Please make sure to turn these in to your child's teacher to help the school earn money. Thank you!
