  • Teacher Spotlight:

    Kelly Neal

    Kelly Neal

Why did you become a teacher?

I became a teacher because of my love for children. It means a lot to be a small part of their educational path.

What is the best part of your job?

The best part of my day is honestly the entire day. It starts with the little smiles and good mornings as well as throughout the day watching them grow and learn and ending with them hugging you saying good bye.

Who was the teacher/educator that inspired you in school?  Why?

My second-grade teacher Mrs. Bell. Even at a young age she held you accountable and always said "Your life is your chance to make good or bad choices."

What is one piece of advice you would give students in your class now?

My advice would be to never give up or stop trying even when things get hard. You can achieve anything you set your mind to.
