Wesley Leonhardt, Lincolnton High School, is recognized at School Board Meeting

Wesley Leonhardt is a senior at Lincolnton High School. His parents are Jeff and Julie Leonhardt.  Wesley has been actively involved with Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) since his freshman year. He has been an officer of his Lincolnton High chapter since his freshman year. This year he is the President of Lincolnton High School FBLA and was elected in March of this year to the NC FBLA State officer team as Southwest Region Vice President.

 

One of the major responsibilities of his office was to plan the Competitive Events Conference for the Southwest Region. On Saturday, December 3, 2016, Lincolnton High School hosted the Southwest Region Leadership and Competitive Event Conference. In attendance were twenty-six schools from the following counties: Anson, Cleveland, Mecklenburg, Catawba, Stanly, Cabarrus, Lincoln, and Union. There were 325 participants in attendance comprised of students, advisers, and community volunteers who served as judges and presenters.

After graduation, Wesley plans to pursue a degree in Information Technology Administration.

Ms. Jennifer Luper, his FBLA Adviser, wanted to express her appreciation of what a fine young man Wesley is as a leader and motivator of others. He is dedicated, he will be the first one to start working and the last one to leave. He is a professional in manner and deeds.
